Priority Estate Inspection
Ascham Homes have identified fifteen estates that suffer from antisocial behaviour and/or from high levels of repairs. In order to improve these estates it was agreed at a Tenants Council Meeting attended by residents and Ascham Homes staff in July 2008 that an inspection of each estate be carried out to pick up all outstanding communal repairs, identify issues of antisocial behaviour and generally to identify ways to improve the environment of the estates.
Each week a Priority Estate Inspection is conducted allowing each estate to be visited at least once every quarter. It is important that residents from the 'reviewed' estate attend the inspection to give a fuller picture of what is happening in their neighbourhood. Councillors and the local Safer Neighbourhood Officers are also invited to attend and answer any questions you may have.
