Tenancy Consultation
The Consultation Process
Waltham Forest Council wants to make the
borough a safer place to live and improve the general quality of
life for residents. The Council also wanted to tackle
antisocial behaviour and rent arrears. Therefore; after a
thorough consultation with its tenants, the Council has revised its
Tenancy Terms & Conditions, implemented a Good Neighbour
Agreement (for Waltham Forest Coulcil tenants living in sheltered
accomodation only), introduced Introductory Tenancies and
Demoted Tenancies. These changes have been implemented
to give residents increased support and improved services.
