Requests for Permission Policy
If you are live in a council property
either as a tenant or a leaseholder, you must ask permission from
the Council before you carry out any work that will affect the
building.
If you are a council tenant you must
also ask permission before you take in a lodger or a pet. As
managing agent for the Council, Ascham Homes deals with all such
requests for permission.
The purpose of this policy guide is to
set out the circumstances in which permission will usually be
granted, give guidance on circumstances Ascham Homes will take into
account in granting permission and the conditions that will usually
be attached to any grant of permission.
