Grounds Maintenance
We provide grounds maintenance services to Council blocks and
estates for on behalf of the London Borough of Waltham Forest
housing service. Grounds maintenance is provided by a team of staff
who carry out the following tasks:
- Grass cutting
- Shrub pruning
- Planting flowers
- Shrub beds
- Weed spraying
Our Grounds maintenance staff work with our caretakers to ensure
all grass areas and flower beds are cleared of litter prior to
pruning.
Dry or wet weather may mean that we cannot cut the grass.
Shrub & trees maintenance
Shrub areas and hedges are generally pruned in winter out of the
growing season, although pruning can be carried out at other times
to assist with crime prevention. During pruning, trees and shrubs
will be cut back to make sure they do not overhang other areas such
as neighbouring properties.
Tree pits are cleared from weeds
Our caretakers remove leaves from beds, clear grass areas and
paths and weed hard standing areas regularly.
