Leaseholder Forum
The Leaseholder Forum is a twice-yearly meeting held by Ascham
Homes to enable leaseholders to meet each other and the staff that
provide services to residents.
As leaseholders arrive for the meeting they are asked to sign
in, so that we have a record of who attends. Leaseholders are also
given the opportunity to book individual surgery sessions with
staff from Estate Services, Tenant Services (for anti-social
behaviour and neighbour disputes), Responsive Repairs, Decent Homes
and Right to Buy and Leasehold Services teams.
There is no standard agenda, but each Leaseholder Forum meeting
normally begins with introductions and presentations from staff. In
the past presentations have been given to explain changes in the
way we have to consult leaseholders before carrying out major
works, how we deal with anti-social behaviour and Decent Homes.
After any questions about the presentations, the formal part of
the meetings ends with an open questions and answer session. The
surgeries then open for leaseholders to discuss any individual
concerns they have about services to their block or estate or their
service charges. To help as many leaseholders as possible to
attend, meetings alternate between a weekday evening and a Saturday
morning.
If you would like to suggest that an item is added to the agenda
for the next meeting please contact the Right to Buy and Leasehold
Services team on 020 8496 4087 or e-mail Rtb.lease@aschamhomes.org.uk
