Getting Involved
We recognise the
importance of involving residents in the decision-making processes
throughout Ascham Homes. We believe in having a good working
partnership with residents, and looking at new and better ways of
strengthening this.
Help us to help you
Your feedback is important in helping us to
shape the services we deliver to you. You can influence all aspects
of our service such as how our repairs service works, how we
collect your rent, how we deal with anti-social behaviour or even
become a board member.
Through our 'Resident Involvement
Register' you are able to choose how you are consulted, how often
and the service areas you would like to get involved
in.
Our legal obligation to listen to your
views
Under the Housing Act 1985 (Provision of Information and
Consultation, Section 105), we must consult you on a range of
housing-management matters and give you or your representatives the
opportunity to make your views known. In addition we provide
training, hold community events and offer facilities in our Tenants
Resource Centre and grant funding opportunities.
How to get involved
Our ‘Resident Participation Compact’ lists a range of ways you
can get involved and is our promise to you that we will make it
easy for you to make your views known.
If you would like to take part in any of our involvement options
or to request the booklets listed, please contact the Resident
Involvement Team on any of the following numbers:
020 8496 4942, 020 8496 4966, 020 8496 4932 or 020 8496 4038
Or email us at: resident.involvement@aschamhomes.org.uk
