Ascham Homes has identified 35 properties that
may need a bathroom replacement and 41 properties that may need a
kitchen replacement. A large number of properties are located at
Bakers Almshouses (27 bathrooms and 27 kitchens).
4 properties have been identified as part of
the central heating programme, meaning they may require a boiler
upgrade. A total of 21 properties have been identified for
electrical testing with properties that require upgrades or rewires
being identified through this testing. 21 properties have been
identified as part of the external wall insulation programme. These
properties are located throughout the Lea Bridge ward.
Bakers Almshouses has been identified for
communal heating works (all 51 properties listed).
Environmental works have been identified for
Rayner Tower and Burrell Tower and properties at Vicarage Road.
Rayner Tower and Burrell Tower have been identified for internal
communal decorations with Vicarage Road identified for pram shed
refurbishment and more secure doors for bike storage. All
environmental works are subject to Council approval.
External decorations have been identified for
5 properties on Dagenham Road. 4 properties located in Markhouse
Road have been identified for structural surveys and possible
works.
1 property on Vicarage Road has been
identified for a fire risk assessment and possible works.
There are 2 lift replacements identified for
Burrell Tower and Rayner Tower. 2 properties are on the doors and
windows programmes and are located on Hitcham Road and Bromley
Road.
