Home / Information For Residents / Tenancy Agreement / Ending your tenancy

Ending your tenancy

One of the ways you can end your tenancy is by giving us four weeks’ notice in writing. During the four-week notice period, we will call to inspect your home. You must return the keys to Ascham Direct on the day you leave.

When you leave, you must also:
  • leave your home in the same condition as it was in when you started your tenancy
  • pay for any damage that was caused deliberately by you, members of your household or your visitors
  • return all keys and door-entry cards
  • fill in a holiday form

When you leave, you must not:
  • leave anybody else living in your home
  • leave any of your belongings behind – we will charge you for any clearance and cleaning we have to carry out
  • leave any rent payments outstanding without making an agreement to repay them.
