Pest control
The council’s environmental health service provides a service that deals with:
- rats (in and outside your home)
- bed bugs
- fleas
- mice
- bees and wasps, and
- cockroaches
If
you live in a house and you experience a pest problem please call
Waltham Forest Direct on 0208 496 3000. You will have to pay for this
service. If you live in a flat and you experience a problem please call
Ascham Direct on 0208 496 4197. You will not normally have to pay for
this service.
If
you have any other pest control problems you can ring Waltham Forest
Direct for advice, but you will need to deal with the problem yourself
or employ a private contractor.
