Freedom of Information
Ascham Homes will endeavour to meet both the letter and spirit of the act by providing requested public information within 20 working days. Where there is a charge for this service, we will make this clear at the time the request is made. Where we do not have the information to hand at the time of the request, a formal application will be logged with the Office of Public Information under the Freedom of Information Act.
All formal requests for information will be logged with and monitored by the Complaints and Service Improvement Team. When a request is received we will check to see if the information is listed on the Publication Lists currently provided by the London Borough of Waltham Forest and Ascham Homes.
If it is listed you will be told whether there is a charge for this service and if so how much and how it can be paid. You will also be told in what format it can be provided.
Once the format is agreed and payment received, the document is to be sent to you within 20 working days. If it is not known if the information is available a formal request needs to be made to the Complaints and Service Improvements Team via email: complain@aschamhomes.org.uk
This request will be logged with and monitored by the Complaints and Service Improvements Team in Ascham Homes.
The Complaints and Service Improvements Team will determine which teams should respond to your request and pass the details to them.
The team receiving the request will process it within 20 working days and send you a response.
