Grace Igwe
I am a mother
and grandmother who cares about others and wants to help improve
their lives and wellbeing. I am a qualified nurse/midwife who
caters for people both young and old and provide care for my
grandchildren. I currently work as a Care Officer and work to
improve the lives of young people who have not had the best start
in life.
The reason why I would like to be elected as a
Resident Board Member is that I am a person with a vision to serve
the community. I understand the needs and problems of the
local community and can empower the residents to embrace the
equality and diversity of the community and work together in unity
and oneness. I will also help them understand the difference
in culture and ethnic backgrounds and how to relate with this; and
will ensure that we all work in partnership to address any issues
that may arise.
I am willing to devote my time, knowledge, experience and energy
when needed in order to make life better for the residents of the
Borough.
