New Ascham Direct out of hours emergency contact
number
Ascham Homes are reviewing the Ascham Direct contact centre and
the out of hours emergency contact service.
From Tuesday 1st November 2011, the opening
hours of Ascham Direct will change to 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday,
in line with the service that residents receive from the council.
As part of our commitment to deliver improved services and value
for money, the out of hours emergency contact service will now be
provided by our contractors, Kier Services - Maintenance. This
means that residents will be able to speak to the contractors
directly so that the emergency can be resolved swiftly.
For an emergency repair, residents should call 0208 226
2631. The out of hours service is in place outside of the
Ascham Direct service times, after 6pm on a weekday and all day at
weekends and bank holidays. If residents call Ascham Direct outside
of these times, they will hear a message asking them to call the
next day or in an emergency, call the out of hours service.
Residents will be sent a letter explaining these changes next
week, along with a fridge magnet with the Ascham Direct phone
number and the new emergency out of hours phone number to help them
find the number should they need it in an emergency.
For day to day repairs and emergency repairs in working hours,
residents should continue to call Ascham Direct on 0208 496 4197,
Monday to Friday, 8am until 6pm.
If residents require an emergency repair outside of these times,
they should call the new out of hours contact number on 0208 226
