Community Reassurance Events
Following the riots and violence,
largely affecting our neighbouring boroughs, the Council and Ascham
Homes, held 3 community reassurance events held in the borough.
These included a crime prevention bus, attendance from Council
officers, the police, community groups and staff from the
Neighbourhood Management team at Ascham Homes, who provided advice
and reassurance to residents.
These events demonstrated community solidarity, how people could
help bring criminals to justice and an opportunity to listen to
what people had to say.
