Fish pond clean up at Clifton House

The restoral of an old fish pond
has delighted the Sheltered Housing residents at Clifton
House.
Residents of Clifton House, in
Leytonstone were fed up of looking at the dirty, old fish pond, in
the communal area. The water filter to the pond was not
working and they needed to re-house the fish.
Rubeena Amanullah, Community Development
Officer at Ascham Homes, obtained funding from Kier Services -
Maintenance, to clean the area, rebuild the pond and fit
a new water filter.
The Sheltered Housing residents love the
outdoor space, where they sit and enjoy the scenery, especially
in the summer days.
Christine Ladoja, Scheme Manager at
Clifton House said "Kiers have completed cleaning the Fishpond and
it looks a lot better. Thank you very much for all your help. My
tenants and I are very pleased and grateful".
