Description:

A real opportunity to deliver transformational change

Ascham Homes is the Arm’s Length Management Organisation established in 2003 to provide housing services to over 12,000 tenants and leaseholders on behalf of Waltham Forest Council. We have a management contract that runs until April 2013 and during this period we intend to prove to our residents and council that we are the right organisation to manage the Council stock.

Working closely together with our council we are embarking on a transformational change programme that will modernise our services and the ways in which we work beyond recognition, ensuring a longer term future and improved quality of life for all our customers.

All housing organisations face challenging times. Ascham Homes is no different whether it’s appraising future options, securing funding, developing innovative services or driving up performance. With us you will get the support of a newly appointed and experienced Chair and Board, and a committed council with the appetite to make the changes needed.

We need a unique individual; an inspirational leader with first class communication and partnering skills. Someone who has proved they can galvanise staff to achieve ambitious and stretching goals, sharpen strategic objectives and deliver genuine improvement in services. In return we offer you a rewarding and challenging role with signifi cant scope in shaping our future, developing new services and of making us the housing provider of choice for our residents and council.

To find out more about this transformational opportunity and how to apply please go to http://www.aschamce.co.uk/ or call Gary Evans on 0870 190 4363 or Bill Barkworth on 0870 190 4353.

Applications should be sent to karen.forsyth@veredus.co.uk

Closing date for applications is 21 February 2010.
