Chair of the Ascham Homes Board

I was re-elected as a director of Ascham Homes in October 2005 and have recently been the Chair of the Change and Improvement Sub Committee.

I have been involved in the tenants' movement for many years. I have chaired several committees including Leytonstone Area Housing Panel and the Borough-wide Tenants' Council. I have attended the Chartered Institute of Housing course in tenant participation at which I gained distinction in all my assignments submitted.

I have a reputation of challenging rather than accepting what I am told. I will fight on the tenant's behalf to ensure we all receive an excellent service. I have been invited to other local authorities as an "expert" in ALMO's for housing.
